Santa in September 2009: Help the Local Care and Share

InfoWest is once again spearheading the annual Santa in September fund-raising drive for Dixie Care and Share and Iron County Care and Share.   Once again…

Our Care and Share needs Santa to come early this year. You can help! Last year, many of you helped us raise over $5000 for the local Care and Share facilities through the Santa in September program.  Because of your contributions, along with many others, Dixie Care and Share was able to not only survive the late summer “lean” times, but was able to finish the year without having to further cut back services or tap their “rainy day” savings.

The needs this year are enormous.  Dixie Care and Share is now serving as many as 600 people a day! Food donations and support from local retailers has been very generous and appreciated.  However, monetary support has been down, and the costs of storage, heating, lighting, labor, etc. have all gone up due to the increase in need.  They have already had to tap their savings account this year to keep operations afloat.

The Care and Share can’t wait for holiday season donations.InfoWest will be including a small “stocking” in all September InfoWest bills. We are asking customers to send it back in with their name and a donation that will be given to the Care and Share in their area, in their name.  Customers can also send a virtual stocking stuffer via the InfoWest web site at: http://www.infowest.com/Santa

If you don’t get a paper bill from InfoWest, you can now download and print your own stocking to return it with your payment and donation.  You can download your Santa in September “stocking” donation slip today at http://www.infowest.com/Santa-in-September and mail or drop your donation by our offices.

You will also be able to choose who will receive your donation – the Dixie Care and Share or the Iron County Care and Share. If we all just give a little, we will make a big difference for many in need!

Will you please join us and make a donation to the Care and Share? Together we can make a big difference with Santa in September!

Sincerely,

Randy Cosby
